Office operating hours are Monday, 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m, Tuesday and Thursday 8am to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday and Friday Noon to 4:30 p.m.

Does your family own a Century Farm?

4-H Schedule of Activities

Horsemanship – Horsemanship meets regularly on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month  from 6pm-8pm at the Harvey Reynolds arena (Take 21 south, turn Rt on Co. Rd. 229, then Lt on 227, the indoor arena is on the Rt)     

 

4-H Explore and Sure Shot Archery – Meet the 1st, 3rd and 5th Monday each month from 3:30 – 4:45 after school

Archery at Ellsinore – Thursday Nov 8th from 3:30-5:00 we will shoot archery at the Ellsinore softball field located by the school

 

4-H Night at Van Buren - Tuesday Nov. 13th from 6:00pm-7:30pm at the Carter County Nutrition Center in VanBuren.

 

 Ellsinore 4-H Meeting - Thursday Nov. 15th from 6:00pm-7:30pm at the Ellsinore FEMA Bldg

 

Shooting Sports - Shooting Sports Day with Oregon County 4H at the Rover Gun Club

                                Saturday, December 1st from 10am-12noon 

We will meet at the VB Nutrition Center at 8:00am to organize rides (We will be car-pooling if you do not have a ride).  There will be the opportunity to shoot air pistols or rifles (8yrs or older), archery (8yrs or older), trap shooting (12 yrs or older), and .22 pistols (13 yrs or older).  Lunch will be provided.  Everything is free of charge.

Agriculture - For those wishing to participate in agricultural projects, several animal species can be raised for a project.  Some such include calves, goats, rabbits, dogs and chickens to name a few.  Check with Diane Oesch or Sue Miller (323-4418) if you have any questions about your animal.
