The staff of the Carter County Extension Center is available to assist county residents with research-based information on a variety of topics. Office operating hours are Monday, 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m, Tuesday and Thursday 8am to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday and Friday Noon to 4:30 p.m.

 

Does your family own a Century Farm?

If your family has owned a farm for 100 years or more, and at least 40 acres of the original farm are still in your possession, you may meet the guidelines for a Century Farm. Visit http://extension.missouri.edu/centuryfarm/ to find out more.

Need a speaker for your next meeting?

  • The inaugural class (2018-2019) of the President’s Engagement Fellows was selected in Spring 2018
  • It is made up of 15 research faculty chosen from all 4 campuses in the University of Missouri System: University of Missouri St. Louis (UMSL), University of Missouri Kansas City (UMKC), Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T) and the University of Missouri (MU).
  • One portion of their appointment involves carrying their research out, via speaking engagements.

  • On it you will find information on all the various speakers and their topics, as well as short bios suitable for dropping into your materials to advertise them.
