Friendraising event at the Treloar Mercantile Building

Hosted by the Katy Land Trust, the St. Louis Storytelling Festival welcomed friends of storytelling to the historic Treloar Mercantile Building on Oct. 7, 2019, to hear Brian “Fox” Ellis share stories from “Growing Up with the River: Nine Generations on the Missouri”, a book written by Dan and Connie Burkhardt and illustrated by Bryan Haynes. Brian’s performance of the stories within talk about the wonder of growing up along the Missouri River. The event was documented in this beautifully made video. Take a look!
