Continuing Medical Education and Physician Lifelong Learning
The University of Missouri‘s Continuing Medical Education and Physician Lifelong Learning program (CME) is designed to educate physicians and other health care providers to provide effective patient-centered care for Missourians and others. CME addresses educational needs in Missouri not adequately addressed in other forums and by other providers.
CME‘s focus is on primary care physicians in rural areas through annual conferences targeting their particular needs. CME embodies high standards regarding the ethical conduct of CME activities that are consistent with the guidelines of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), promoting effective education.
