Latinx Communities in Missouri (LCIM)

A Bicentennial Inclusion Initiative between Missouri2021, The State Historical Society of Missouri, University of Missouri, MU Extension, MU Cambio Center, Alianzas, and the Hispanic Leaders Group of St. Louis.
University of Missouri Extension Community Arts Program is proud to be part of the "Latinx Communities in Missouri" (LCIM) Bicentennial Initiative. LCIM is a Bicentennial Inclusion Initiative designed to ensure that the diverse history and contributions of Latinx communities in Missouri are represented in Missouri 2021 Bicentennial celebrations. Our alliance of community partners envisions an inclusive and representative portrait of the historical contributions of the Latinx communities in Missouri through programming, presentations, community engagement and dialogues.
We will be hosting six live, virtual events from June through November 2021, as well as other community-based activities to engage Latinx communities statewide. All six of our webinar programs are sponsored by the LiUNA Missouri and Kansas Laborers District Council.
