  • Face to Face

Description

This winter will be a challenge as the drought of 2022 has left its mark on the cattle industry in SW Missouri and though out the Mid-West.  This two-hour program is designed to address the current winter pasture situations, the utilization of hay and grain to offset shortages, as well as meeting the needs of your cattle in their current conditions.  Topics covered will include but not be limited to pasture conditions and what to expect, hay quality, hay testing, and understanding your hay test as well as feeding to meet the needs of your cattle, reducing the herd size, and making it to next spring’s grass as economically as possible.
