Neighborhood Watch Leader Training (Republic, Mo)

Description

Neighborhood Watch is a voluntary civilian program with the goals of reducing crime and increasing community engagement. Working with the Republic Police Department, citizens learn when and how to report suspicious activities, assist in property identification, conduct home security surveys, and implement home security measures and precautions. 

The program is open to residents of Republic, Missouri.

This training is the first required step toward establishing a neighborhood watch on your block.

Funding for meal provided by University of Missouri Extension. This program is offered in partnership between MU Extension and the City of Republic as part of our Republic Neighborhood Alliance.

Must pre-register to reserve a seat and a meal.
