Navigating Difference for MU Extension Personnel

Navigating Difference is a cultural competency training for people who work in communities. The interactive program is for those who want to deepen their knowledge, skills and appreciation for connecting across diversity with clientele, co-workers and community members. This offering will be delivered online in real time, with expectations for some work outside of the classroom. Participants should plan for 4-5 hours of work each week, 3 of which is in the virtual classroom. This program is for all MU Extension personnel, including support staff and administrators. The training team may separate out supervisors and their subordinates into separate break-out groups for some of the exercises. In order to foster an atmosphere of openness and trust, this program will not be recorded.
