These quarterly luncheons aim to connect Mizzou alumni who are leading in the county with MU Extension staff and supporters who are putting boots to the ground with exciting local efforts. Each gathering features a presentation by a Mizzou alum who is making a difference in Greene County. The meeting includes a free lunch, networking, attendee introductions, and relevant local updates. Thanks to support from the Greene County Extension Council, lunch is provided free of charge for the first 40 Mizzou alumni to register. Because of the room size, attendance is being limited to 50.
November focus: Leadership in Journalism
This panel of local journalism graduates from Mizzou will discuss the big issues facing local journalism and how Mizzou prepared them to flourish in the 21st Century media market.
Registration is free but must be done in advance of the meeting on the MU Extension website.
