Living a Healthy Life with St. Luke's Hospital
The Chronic Disease Self-Management Program (CDSMP) is a six week, highly interactive group program to help people gain self-confidence in their ability to control their symptoms and learn how their health problems affect their lives. Topics include dealing with feelings of fear and isolation, appropriate exercise, medication use, nutrition, managing depression, how to evaluate new treatments, and communicating with family, friends and health team. CDSMP is an evidenced based program developed at Stanford University and now managed by the Self Management Resource Center. This class is being offered in partnership with St. Luke's Hospital and will be a VIRTUAL class using Zoom.
Interested participants must register through St. Luke's Hospital. Click on the link below and search for Living a Healthy Life as the class title. All participants will receive the zoom link to attend this virtual class about one week prior to the class beginning.
