Living a Healthy Life with Diabetes - Gateway Region YMCA - Fall 2021

Description

The Diabetes Self-Management Program (also known as Living a Healthy Life) is an interactive six-week group program for people living with type 2 diabetes, pre-diabetes and their caregivers. This course is designed to help participants better manage their diabetes symptoms such as fatigue, pain, and emotional issues through skill building activities such as problem solving, action planning and much more. This is an evidenced-based program developed at Stanford University. Participants will receive a free Living a Healthy Life Book for participating.
