Description

This hay school from MU Extension will provide beef cattle and forage producers with an opportunity to improve hay production and management on their operations. Over the course of two evenings, attendees will receive information and engage in discussions on forage quality, including anti-quality factors; forages for northwest Missouri; meeting the nutritional needs of beef cattle through hay; hay fertility and pest management; understanding and using hay tests; hay storage; feeding management, efficiency, and delivery; hay harvest systems; and economics of hay production.
