Garden n Grow is a Summer gardening program for 9 to 13 year old youth. Participants learn not only vegetable, flower, and herb gardening, but also develop science, math, team building, and language skills. Garden N Grow is based on a MU Extension developed curriculum.
Young gardeners will have the opportunity to garden outdoors in a raised bed with the help of trained Extension Master Gardeners. There will also be indoor gardening and plant science activities. The raised bed gardens and the classroom are on the grounds of Fairview Christian Church, 1800 NE 65th St, Kansas City, MO 64118.
Any extra produce will be shared with local food pantries and/or with children's families.

No fee required at registration. A fee for class supplies will be collected during the first week of classes.
