Dining with Diabetes

Dining with Diabetes is a program led by University of Missouri Extension Nutrition Specialists for adults with type 2 diabetes or pre-diabetes or people who take care of those with diabetes. This 4-session course helps participants to build food skills through cooking while learning strategies to better manage, prevent or delay complications surrounding diabetes. In addition to cooking diabetes-friendly recipes, classes also include meal planning, group discussion, and information about physical activity and label reading.
