Cooking Matters at Home - YWCA Overland Session 1

Description

Cooking Matters at Home is a 3-week virtual series of weekly classes during which participants learn how to prepare healthy, delicious meals and stretch their food dollars. Each class consists of a nutrition lesson, group discussion, and hands-on learning while preparing a full meal. Each week, participants receive a small bag of groceries ahead of time with the ingredients needed to recreate a recipe from each class. At the end of the course, graduates will receive a completion certificate and a book that contains information learned in class and lots of delicious recipes

This program is supported by USDA SNAP-Education grant funds and is only available for those who meet income eligibility requirements.
