Challenges with Older Adults and End-of-Life Care Webinar Series

Description

Begins April 20, 2021, and happens the third Tuesday of the month following.

Time: Noon-1 p.m.

Webinar Series Description:
Traditional primary care training has lacked attention to serious illness in older adults.  Primary care clinicians in rural and other underserved areas of Missouri are often the sole clinician caring for these patients who often have challenging problems. Yet assistance from subspecialty geriatricians and palliative care clinicians is typically not available outside academic medical centers.  To enhance care delivery for older adults, this series will deliver evidence-based information and practical skills to clinicians in rural and underserved areas.
