14th Evidenced-Based Practice on the Frontline

Description

Description:

Target Audience

This event targets frontline nurses who provide patient care, regardless of setting. Advanced Practice RNs, managers and educators also report benefit from participation.

Purpose

Explore how frontline nurses discover and use the latest evidence to enhance nursing care and improve patient outcomes. The focus is not on high level research but on how frontline nurses can continue to plan and conduct EBP projects in a constantly changing healthcare environment. Novice and seasoned nurses alike will gain confidence in their own ability to carry out projects to guide everyday practice. Select EBP projects in areas of communication and conflict resolution will be presented, as well as how to communicate best practice to patients and families amidst requests for care that is not evidence-based.
