The 27th Annual Psychiatric Mental Health Up-Date: Hot Off the Press Topics for the New Normal provides a virtual forum for mental health professionals to increase their evidence-based knowledge and competence in caring for people from across the life span with psychological challenges.  It was designed for staff nurses, clinical nurse specialists, nurse practitioners, staff development educators, managers, social workers, psychologists, counselors, nursing home administrators and other individuals interested in mental health issues.  This year, attendees will learn about male rape victims and stigma, Missouri State Crisis Intervention Teams (CIT), mental health forensics, MO-CPAP child psychiatry referral services, meeting the pharmaceutical needs of mentally challenged clients, neuromodulation therapies, and resilience for mental health care providers.
