Team Objectives and Goals
1. Clarify and define the issues to be addressed by the team, based on the needs assessment, background information, current programming and the expertise of the team members. 2. Identify the objectives of the Focus Team in terms of educational outcomes for specific audiences within specific time frames. Identify indicators of success. 3. Bring together the relevant knowledge base from wherever it is available; identify gaps which need to be addressed through applied research or demonstration. 4. Create and carry out an implementation plan for the goals of the team.
Guidelines for Working Groups
1. Identify, design and implement the professional development necessary for faculty to successfully conduct programs in the Focus Area. 2. Design and arrange an evaluation strategy for the programs. 3. Create and implement a communication plan to inform stakeholders and all faculty about the activities of the Focus Team.
