| Team Objectives and Goals | |||

| 1. Clarify and define the issues to be addressed by the team, based on the needs assessment, background information, current programming and the expertise of the team members. | 2. Identify the objectives of the Focus Team in terms of educational outcomes for specific audiences within specific time frames. Identify indicators of success. | 3. Bring together the relevant knowledge base from wherever it is available; identify gaps which need to be addressed through applied research or demonstration. | 4. Create and carry out an implementation plan for the goals of the team. |

| 1. Identify, design and implement the professional development necessary for faculty to successfully conduct programs in the Focus Area. | 2. Design and arrange an evaluation strategy for the programs. | 3. Create and implement a communication plan to inform stakeholders and all faculty about the activities of the Focus Team. |
