site has a lot of information on the water quality and waste management programs from
North Carolina. They have some pioneering nutrient management programming.
Oregon State Watershed-related publications and videos The Oregon
State University Extension Service has more than 50 watershed-related publications and
videos, with topics such as wetlands, streams, estuaries, wildlife, dairy production and
rangelands
Iowa
State Extension Ag Engineering Water Quality and Waste Management This site has a lot
of information on the water quality and waste management programs from Iowa State. Some of
it is farm evaluation worksheets on the web.
Iowa Manure
Management Action Group This site is an outstanding site for animal waste
management programs from Iowa State Agronomy Department. Like North Carolina they have
good nutrient management programming. Some of it is training worksheets on the web.
Univ. of
Minnisota Extension Manure Management This site has a good topical index for animal
waste management programs.
Planning
Trails with Wildlife in Mind: This handbook will help trail planners balance the
benefits of creating trails with being stewards of nature, especially wildlife. It
was developed as part of Colorado State Parks' Trails and Wildlife Project.
