This book is designed for Missouri agricultural producers to use as a tool for recording pesticide and nutrient application data. Information on topics such as soil testing and interpretation, beneficial management practices, manure spreader calibration and pesticide sprayer calibration are included to make this a handy reference as well.
Nationally, agriculture producers are expected to improve their record keeping on practices which can have an environmental impact. Missouri producers are being asked to do their part. Keeping accurate records of their farming operations throughout the year will be a valuable tool to use when planning for the future. These same records can be used to document pesticide or nutrient practices in cases of legal action.
The Water Quality Focus Team and state specialist from agricultural engineering and agronomy departments produced the pocket record book. Your comments are welcome.
