UO/E awarded two grants in November

University Outreach and Extension received two grant awards, totaling $54,348, during November.

• Awards e-MINTS-4-Utah Evaluation, $36,348 (new) from the Granite (Utah) School District; 11/9/03 to 8/31/04. Missouri's eMINTS Evaluation Team will train and advise eMINTS-4-Utah staff members in data collection through classroom observations and teacher interviews and will assist in analysis of standardized test results from the State of Utah UPASS system. Project manager: Bill Elder.

• Remote Technology Training for Rural Missouri, $18,000 (new) from the SBC Foundation; 9/1/03 to 8/30/04. The grant supports training via ITV in Cisco networking and routing in conjunction with the Cape County Vocational School. Project manager: Janet Kline.
