Grant Update

University Outreach and Extension received $87,000 in grants during October.

Awards

KIDSCOUNT, $17,000 (renewal) from Citizens for Missouri's Children; 9/22/03 to 6/30/04. The Office of Social and Economic Data Analysis will assist Citizens for Missouri's Children in developing indicators and data sources to assess the well-being of young people in the state. OSEDA also will assist in producing the annual KIDSCOUNT report. Project manager: Bill Elder.

Jennings Counseling Enhancement Evaluation Agreement, $40,000 (new) from the Jennings School District; 10/1/03 to 6/30/04. OSEDA will assist in designing an evaluation of the school district's new counseling program. Project manager: Bill Elder.

Jennings Stars and Heroes Evaluation, $30,000 (new) from the Jennings School Distrioct; 10/1/03 to 6/30/04. OSEDA will evaluate the district's Stars and Heroes program to measure impact. Project director: Bill Elder.
