Annual Conference committee seeks staff input

What should be the goals for the 2004 Annual Conference? What do you want to get out of Annual Conference? These are the questions being asked by the Annual Conference planning committee through an online survey. Faculty and staff are invited to respond.

"We think it's important to hear from all the UO/E family on their needs, interests and goals for this important event," says Jo Turner, 4-H program leader and conference chair.

Responses will be used to refine objectives for the conference, which is scheduled for May 18-20, 2004, in Columbia. Sessions will address the professional development needs of campus and regional specialists, administrators, educational assistants and office/administrative support staff.

Chairs for the professional development tracks: Mary Leuci, community development; Steve Wyatt, business and industry; Jo Turner, 4-H youth development; Jo Britt-Rankin, human environmental sciences; Dave Baker and John Gardner, agriculture, food and natural resources; Milly Carter and Brenda Robinson, office/administrative/support staff; and Linda Butterfield Cupp and Ginny Barnes, continuing education.

Chairs are working with small advisory groups to plan sessions. To make suggestions, contact chairs directly.
