UMEA to host Missouri Galaxy in November

UMEA is sponsoring the first annual Missouri Galaxy Conference, Nov. 18-19, at Windemere Conference Center, Lake of the Ozarks.

The 2003 Missouri Galaxy Conference is a professional development event designed for UO/E faculty by UO/E faculty. Through this conference, participants from all UO/E disciplines will have the opportunity to acquire new professional tools and resources, develop working partnerships, and recognize each other’s accomplishments, as well as have fun, relax, and network with colleagues.

The event will conclude with a joint association luncheon and awards ceremony.

Galaxy II participants invited to States Night Out

Missouri Galaxy II participants will celebrate States Night Out, Sept. 23, at Lion House, the historic Brigham Young home. The restaurant, located within three blocks of the conference center, features historic cooking. The cost of the meal will be $18.98 plus gratuity. To make reservations, contact Glenda Kinder, MEAFCS president, or Donna Taake, MAE4-HYW president, for meal reservations.
