Conference explores linkages with Latino communities

The Institute for the Support of Latino/a Families and Communities will host the fifth annual Strengthening and Valuing Latino Families and Communities Conference, Nov. 1, at the University of Iowa. The conference explores the changing demographics and dynamics of Latino communities, and the responsiveness of educators, policy makers, business leaders and community-based organizations.

The conference includes a one-day pre-conference workshop for professionals and community leaders working with Latinos.

Registration is $80 before Oct. 17.
