Diversity calendars are available from CYFERnet (Children, Youth and Families Education and Research Network) at http://www.cyfernet.org.
The 18-month calendars cover July 2003-December 2004 and include significant ethnic and cultural dates and other information educators can use to assist in celebrating diversity within their programs and communities. Descriptions of key holidays and observances and information on the federally recognized history and heritage months also are included. The calendar was produced by the Department of Family, Youth and Community Sciences, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, at the University of Florida. The cost is $12.
