Personnel team named for human resources director position

Mary Leuci, community development program leader, will chair the personnel team for the newly created director of human resources position.

Committee members are Shelly Bush, EC community development specialist; David Davis, NW environmental design specialist; Tony DeLong, chairman of the Missouri Extension County Council Leadership Council; Soneeta Grogan, NE Region director; Rick Mammen, SW agronomy specialist; Julie Middleton, system program director; Debbie Robison, MU interim vice provost; Mary Sheller, human resource development; Rick Sparks, SE business and industry specialist; and Cynthia Zluticky, WC community development specialist/Jackson County program director.

The human resources director will provide leadership for University Outreach and Extension personnel and professional development functions, including human resources policies and procedures; recruitment and hiring; professional development; employee relations; affirmative action and equal employment opportunity; awards, recognition and incentive programs; and staffing and organizational development.
