UO/E Week set for May 18-24

Resources to assist county council members, faculty and staff are available on the UO/E Week website.

Boone County flyers highlight programs

A series of flyers developed by a Boone County outreach and extension council member features educational programs available to residents. One flyer provides an overview of program areas, while the other two offer information on specific programs. Developed in Word, the flyers can be downloaded and adapted by other counties.

St. Louis County brochure features staff and program expertise

St. Louis County has developed a six-panel brochure on faculty and staff who serve the counties, their expertise and the programs they deliver. The Publisher file, available on the web, can be adapted by other counties.

Callaway County plans barbecue

The Callaway County outreach and extension council and regional faculty and staff will host its annual UO/E Week barbecue, from 5-7 p.m., May 22, at the extension center in Fulton. Food will be provided, prepared and served by council members. The council also will give away door prizes. MU extension specialists traveling with the MU Plant Protection Program Van, will provide advice and answer questions.

Send UO/E Week event news to Extension Communications

Extension Communications is compiling a statewide calendar of University Outreach and Extension Week events to be posted on the web and reported in Weekly News. Materials developed for UO/E Week also will be shared. Send information on events and proclamation signings, etc., to Extension Communications, 817 Clark Hall, Columbia, MO 65211. Include copies of flyers, brochures, news releases, invitations, etc.
