A certificate
of appreciation to recognize the financial
support of county commissioners is available to
county outreach and extension councils.
"County governments are important partners,
and this certificate is a way for councils to
demonstrate the value of that local
partnership," says Tony DeLong, Missouri
Extension County Council Leadership Council chair.
Counties may order the certificates in time for presentation during University Outreach and Extension Week. Requests should e-mailed to Extension Communications by April 25.
The certificates, issued by the University and MECCLC, will include a gold, embossed University seal and the hand-written signatures of Executive Vice President Ron Turner and DeLong. Council chairs can sign the certificates when they are received.
