Presentation scheduled for HES associate dean candidate

The search committee for the associate dean of human environmental sciences will host a public seminar for candidate Ann Vail, at 2 p.m., April 28, in S204 Memorial Union, MU. Vail will speak on "The role of the College of Human Environmental Sciences in the 21st Century."

"We encourage all interested faculty, staff and citizens to attend Dr. Vail's seminar and to give us input on this important decision," says Jo Turner, who chairs the search committee.

A second candidate will be interviewed in mid-May, Turner says. Information about that presentation will be announced at a later date.

For more information on Vail's itinerary, contact Sue Andrews, executive staff assistant.

HES state specialist searches

For additional information, contact Deanna Sharpe, associate professor of consumer and family economics, regarding the CFE position, and Larry Ganong, professor, regarding the HDFS position.

Interim Associate Dean Jo Britt-Rankin says, "I am hopeful we can have both positions filled by fall."
