Urban Extension Conference set for May 6-9

The annual Urban Extension Conference, May 6-9, in Chicago, will explore "Meeting the Challenges of a Changing America."

The conference will focus on diversity issues, including topics related to demographics and social change, successful urban program models, issues facing diverse audiences, challenges in creating a diverse workforce, new delivery methods, measuring impact and developing skills to communicate with stakeholders.

Registration is $375 through March 15, and $179 for single-day registration.

UO/E specialists may apply for professional association meeting funds to support their attendance. Individuals also may apply for fellowships through the Extension Loan and Fellowship Fund.
