UO/E Community Development will offer "County Government Finance," from April 21-May 2. The course, available free of charge to UO/E employees and county council members, will explain how counties differ by class and sources of revenue; review mandatory and discretionary expenditures; and discuss how extension is affected by county budget reality.
Participants will take part in two NetMeeting conference calls, from 6-8 p.m., April 23 and 30, and complete approximately four hours of additional reading and information gathering.
