Due to the Feb. 1 resignation of Doug Holt, an interim plan to address food safety plans has been established. Phone and e-mail requests should be handled as follows:
Consumer issues (food preparation and preservation, home food safety and hand washing) questions should be e-mailed to Nutritional Sciences Extension. Calls can be made to (573) 882-2428.
Industry/Retail/Producer issues (HACCP regulations, biotechnology, food processing, home-based food businesses and producer food safety) questions should be e-mailed to Ruth MacDonald, chair of food science. Calls can be made to the Food Science main office, (573) 882-4100.
