MU Direct offers local economic analysis course

MU Direct is offering AgEcon 301: Local Economic Analysis, a one-hour online credit course, from March 3-June 3. Taught by Judy Stallmann, MU extension community development specialist, the course will cover how to determine a community's economic base, sources of economic growth and decline and retail potential. The course also will demonstrate how to use analytical tools and interpret results.
