How can you know whether your website will look alright in other browsers, or older browsers, or with different screen sizes? Since there are so many in use, it is important that your website looks good in a variety of common browsers. Here are a few services found on the web that will help you test your page:
- Screen Size Tester - This lets you view how your page would look under different screen sizes
- Download BrowserSizer - This program provides a similar service as the Screen Size Tester page - letting you view your page under different screen sizes.
- Codo Browserola - A program that allows you to view your page as it would look with older versions of Netscape Navigator, Internet Explorer, and HTML. It does this by analyzing the HTML on your pages and temporarily disables tags that don't work in the browser you're emulating
- Delorie Software HTML Authoring Services - Includes services to see what your page looks like without support for various features, and to restrict your HTML to published standards.
