Just as the Associated Press Stylebook guides writers in standardizing the way they abbreviate and punctuate their writing, this Web style guide is intended to guide University of Missouri Extension Web authors in creating good HTML documents, free of common errors.
In addition to the tips and resources on these pages, we strongly recommend reading the Yale Web Style Manual. Although it doesn't cover the newest Web technologies, it's offers good suggestions for organization of Web pages, general design principles and effective use of graphics.
