On the FrontPage 200 menu bar, click FILE then OPEN WEB... (Not just OPEN -- that is for opening an individual file).
The logon screen for connecting to a web has changed in FP2000. You can no longer list all webs that are available on a particular FrontPage server. You must give the complete URL for a remote FrontPage web – like this: http://outreach.missouri.edu/webteam/ in the “Folder name:” line.

Click Open to continue, then enter your login name and password when prompted. Your Web will open and you will see the list of files and folders.
Webs that you have opened recently will be listed in the “web folders” view, and names of additional webs can be quickly accessed from the pull-down list next to the “folder name” box.
The new connection interface also allows you to open any folder on your hard drive as if it were a FrontPage Web, without requiring a personal web server to be installed. This is useful when you want to develop pages locally, before they are ready to be published to the web, or work on pages while you are disconnected from the Internet, and then import them later.
