MS FrontPage 2000 Tutorial

To connect to your FrontPage Web on the University Outreach and Extension Web server:

1.  Establish your Internet connection (direct or dial-up through your local Internet Service Provider).

2.  Launch FrontPage 2000

3.  On the FrontPage 2000 menu bar, click   FILE  then OPEN WEB...  (Not just OPEN -- that is for opening an individual file).

4.   If you have never logged in before, there will be no sites automatically listed in the "Open Web" screen, so you have to type in or paste in the complete URL for your web site  – like this: http://outreach.missouri.edu/webteam/ in the “Folder name:” line.

After the first time you have logged in, when you return to the "Open Web" screen, your web site will be listed as you see in the example screen shot below. IE "mowin on outreach.missouri.edu", so all you will have to do is double-click on that entry.
