Conversion of County and Regional Websites
In 2002, we converted all of the UO/E main site and all county office websites
to a standardized format. Below is the background information about
the change, including the logic behind the change and the goals for what we
hoped the change would accomplish.
Planning and Background Information
All regional and county websites will be converted to a standardized
format to provide more overall consistency and continuity between the state,
regional and county levels of the UO/E web presence.
The planning process for this conversion has been long and very in-depth.
The items below detail the process and the thought that has gone into this
changeover.
Implementation
Implementation will be on a
region-by-region basis. Regional faculty and
staff will conduct initial planning. The UO/E
webmaster will manage the conversion of web
pages to the new format at the system level.
Once pages are complete, regional staff members
will receive training on maintenance and
development.
