Proposal Guidelines

for an

Individualized ISE

Introduction

Individualized ISEs provide a professional development education which supports planned or potential programming and individual professional development needs. The number of days allocated to Individualized ISEs are included within the total number of days ISEs approved for each individual.

 

Proposal Requirements

A proposal for an Individualized ISE must be submitted for adminstrative approval at least 30 days prior to the scheduled experience. The proposal should include information on the following items:

1. Brief explanation of the topic you want to learn more about.

2. Brief explanation of your learning objectives.

3. Brief explanation of your proposed learning activities.

4. Explanation of how this learning experience relates to your plan of work, position description, and individual development plan.

5. Explanation of how you will evaluate what you learn from this experience.

6. Time frame for the experience.

7. Number of other days of approved ISEs for program year (July 1-June 30).

8. Funds requested from University Extension in support of this proposal (detailing use of the funds).
