Rachel Augustine appointed permanent director of Missouri 4-H Foundation
The Missouri 4-H Foundation and University of Missouri Extension are pleased to announce the appointment of Rachel Augustine as director of the Missouri 4-H Foundation. Rachel has served as interim director for the past 10 months and has been employed by foundation since 2013. She is committed to providing leadership to advance the mission and broaden support for the 4-H program of Missouri.
Rachel has been involved with the strategic communications, donor relations, annual fund development and major gifts initiatives during her time with the foundation. She has worked with the MU Advancement team to help the 4-H Foundation team integrate best practices for fundraising for 4-H. Her positive attitude and focus on donor relations and 4-H volunteers have helped Rachel become well-known in the Missouri 4-H family.
Prior to her work with the foundation, Rachel worked for the University of Rochester and St. Louis Public Radio in fundraising and strategic communications roles. She received her bachelor’s degree in media arts and communications from the University of Arizona in Tucson.
Rachel will work closely with the 4-H Center for Youth Development, Mizzou Advancement and the Missouri 4-H Foundation’s trustees to advance the 4-H fundraising mission. She will report to Cat Comley Adams, MU Extension’s senior director of advancement.
The Missouri 4-H Foundation is a 501(C)(3) that has raised funds to support 4-H programs and provide scholarships for youth in Missouri for more than 65 years.
