Master Gardeners of the Ozarks

Master Gardeners of the Ozarks is based in the Stone and Taney County area with close to 100 active residents who participate. Master Gardeners are trained by University of Missouri Extension to provide research-based gardening infomation and volunteer in their communities.

Master Gardeners of the Ozarks Kimberling Area Library Garden Program for 2016

The Master Gardeners of the Ozarks will again be offering gardening classes at the Kimberling Area Library. Each session is on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. Classes and dates are:

March 9             Growing Organic Vegetables by MG Mike Cooper

April 13              Perennials for Springtime Color by MG Kathryn Kufahl

May 11              Shade Gardens by MG Alice Troyke

June 8               Growing Roses in the Ozarks by MG Bill Greet

July 13               The Ozarks: Perfect Place for Berries by MG Marie Ewing

August 10           Preserving the Bounty of the Garden by MG Cathy Wolven

September 14    Allium & Narcissus: Bulbs for Fall Planting by MG Kathryn Kufahl

All sessions are in the community room at the Kimberling Area Library, 45 Kimberling Blvd. Kimberling City MO, and are free and open to everyone as part of community education sponsored jointly by the library and Master Gardeners of the Ozarks, volunteers with the University of Missouri Extension,
