Founded in 1909 as Sigma Delta Chi, SPJ is today the nation’s largest journalism organization, dedicated to encouraging the free practice of journalism and stimulating high standards of ethical behavior among journalists. FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION
