Storytelling for Community Health and Wellbeing initiative

Thanks to a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), the St. Louis Storytelling Festival is embarking on a year of events focused on storytelling in the use of community health and wellbeing. We kick this off on Oct. 19, with a special performance of SNAP! – a theatrical story experience of one girl’s journey of mental illness and recovery by Stories-in-Healthcare consultant Regi Carpenter at the Kranzberg Arts Center Studio, and then a full-day workshop on “Using Storytelling in Clinical Care” on Oct. 20 at the St. Louis County Extension Office in Kirkwood. CE/CEU credits are available for the workshop. For more details and to get tickets or register for the workshop, please visit our Get Involved page.
