G.H.O.S.T. Project

G.H.O.S.T. (Ghost, Horror, Or Scary Tales) is a University of Missouri Extension storytelling workshop and performance program, sponsored by MU Extension, the St. Louis Storytelling Festival and Extension 4-H. For more information, see the informational video below.

Designed for upper-middle and high-school students, G.H.O.S.T. allows participants to work with master storyteller Sherry Norfolk to research, create and tell their own ghost story, then perform it at the St. Louis Storytelling Festival's G.H.O.S.T. slam concert, with a chance to win a trip to the National Storytelling Network conference performance in summer 2017!

This is a chance for young storytellers to exercise their creative minds and work with top-notch storytellers to showcase their talents on stage! The cost is only $35 ($20 for 4-H members), which includes three workshops, rehearsals, performance at the festival G.H.O.S.T. slam, a t-shirt and a chance to perform at a National Conference. By joining the G.H.O.S.T. storytelling club, youth have the chance to participate at a reduced rate in other great 4-H programs.
