On Sunday afternoon, October 24th, the 4-H Clubs of Stone County met to celebrate the end of the 4-H year and the beginning of the new one. The families each brought a covered dish and shared a large Sunday afternoon dinner before the ceremony. Along with their awards, the kids also received both their year pins and their project pins. Also given were club awards and leader awards. Applause and cheering and hugging and much picture snapping naturally followed.
