Use this form to report volunteer hours that you DO NOT record elsewhere (via index card with project supervisor or online through the MG website at http://extension.missouri.edu/stlouismg/). lease report all hours, even those in excess of what is required to remain an active MG. Send your completed form to the Kemper Center, P.O. Box 299, St. Louis, MO 63166. We encourage quarterly reporting; Jan – Mar, Apr – Jun, Jul – Sept, Oct – Dec. All hours need to be reported by December 31^st of the year in which they occur.

Activity Description Column: Please describe the approved activities in which you accumulated volunteer hours. Approved activities are those listed in the MG Buzz Book or on the MG website. If you have questions about what activities are approved, call a Program Coordinator.

Volunteer Hours Column: The St. Louis Master Gardener Program requires 50 volunteer hours per year to maintain an “active” status. Preparation time and “extraordinary” travel time should be included. DO NOT include time spent in casual conversation answering gardening questions. DO NOT include activities for which you receive compensation.

Training Hours Column: Please include all organized training programs you participated in such as: enrichment classes, education programs, or gardening-related classes. Note that these hours do not count toward your volunteer hours of service. The St. Louis Master Gardener Program recommends 10 hour of training per year.
