St. Louis Master Gardeners

Missouri Master Gardeners

Speakers Bureau

The St. Louis Master Gardener Speakers Bureau is a public service program dedicated to providing quality horticultural information. Programs are presented by knowledgeable Master Gardeners who have completed a presentation skills course.

St. Louis Master Gardeners receive extensive horticultural training provided by University of Missouri Extension and the Missouri Botanical Garden. Speakers have selected and prepared programs that reflect both their expertise and interests.

Master Gardeners will speak to groups located in the greater St. Louis area. Garden clubs, schools, businesses, churches, neighborhood and civic organizations are invited to take advantage of the Master Gardener Speakers Bureau.

Presentations generally last about 50 minutes. Each presentation costs $50 to offset program expenses.

To obtain a speaker:

  1. Select a program from the list of topics. Then call the speaker directly to schedule the presentation. Only the speaker can schedule a presentation.
  2. When a confirmation form has been received, please mail a $50 check payable to MBG, to:
