Partnership
The University of Missouri Outreach & Extension and Lincoln University established the St. Louis Master Gardener program in 1983 in partnership with the Missouri Botanical Garden. The main purpose of this partnership is to operate a joint education outreach program related to horticulture and home gardening.
Policy Committee
The Policy
Committee oversees the joint outreach programming efforts of University
of Missouri Extension and the Missouri Botanical Garden and makes decisions
regarding overall program priorities and annual budgets. The committee
includes representatives from both the Missouri Botanical Garden and the University of Missouri Extension.
Program Coordinators
The Program Coordinators are responsible for developing and providing the Master Gardener training program.
Master Gardener Advisory Board
The Master Gardener Advisory Board serves as the primary advisory group to the St. Louis Master Gardener Partnership program.
Master Gardener Advisory Board members include the East Central Regional Horticulture Specialist, the Manager of the Kemper Center, Master Gardeners who serve as Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, and six subcommittee heads.

Committees and subcommittees are established as necessary to serve the Advisory Board.
